Upon arrival in tel aviv our reservation is not ready. We are told to
come back in an hour. Btw, it's 95 in jerusalem and 80-something here.
After the exploring the area we discover the beach while awaiting our
room to be ready.
The room is not ready at the appointed time we are told to come back
again. And we will not be getting the smoke free room requested. We
could of course go elsewhere... But the concierge knows, as do we,
there's no where else to go... Except the mediterranean sea.
My mood improves dramatically with salt water swimming. We make it out
to a breakwater 200 meters off the beach for some Sunning and people
watching. When we return our things haven't even been stolen. Vacation
is looking up!
