Had a pricing disagreement with abu hasan on return from Masada today.
We paid his man the original agreed price but he was angry over the
phone that we wouldn't pay the "new" price.
As a result we canceled the galilee tour and hope to reach narariyha
or Haifa early. Tonight and tomorrow are shabbat so transit may prove
interesting. May rent a car and take myself.
Drama aside, west bank, dead sea, Masada and Qumran were great. Seeing
and living in conditions on the ground makes the news history and
struggle come to life.
Israel/palestine is the land of fait accompli (sp?)
